GAME STRATEGIES, the new and most important aspect of new orientation of the football future preparation

What we are advocating are not the skills that Argentina demonstrated, but the COMPOSITION OF THE SKILLS IN EVERY MOMENT OF THE GAME. In this regard, we are presenting the most significant game strategies through a DOMINANTLY CREATIVE FOOTBALL CONCEPT.

GAME’ STRATEGIES FOR ATTACK:

Individual art to control the game:

Art of Controlling the ball:

  • Control ball between 1-2-3 opponents, until finding the best opportunity to pass.
  • Control the ball and stop, the opponent is stopping too, waiting for the next move; a fake left-right, a ball trapped back and a full speed ahead with the ball, living the opponent 1-2 meters behind.
  • From full speed, slow down, watch and pass: 1-2; 1-2-1 or 1-2 cross for the 3rd.

Confidence in keeping the ball - “timing without losing the ball”:

  • Slow down, silence, control the opponent, stop him and then manipulate him, according to the situation, in a creative show of skills!
  • This manner is the same for all players, like in a circus-show!
  • The players-individually, are artist and are playing an art-football-show!

Pressure the opponent by not allowing him to get the ball.

  • Use emotional control over the opponent

Controlling the game in small groups of 2-3-4 players (like in the game 4 vs. 2 training game), through short passes until the team is organized in the field:

  • A group of minimum 3-4 players are around the ball, by creating the same training game of 4 vs.1-2-3 players. When they become equal, change the ball on the other side of the field, doing the same game, until ready to start a “storm-attack”
  • Through this small group, on one side of the field, the other groups are relaxing and preparing to "return" to the game.   This way, there is a science of play on one hand and recovery, on the other, ensuring thus a continuum throughout the field and team.

Controlling and organizing own team by controlling the field and positional passing, controlling the opponent and the result of the game.

  • Passing side and back for the next pass in penetration, in the opponent’s field.
  • Psychologically, the team is controlling the ball, the game, the field, the opponent and the result.

GAME STRATEGIES FOR DEFENSE:

A.      The individual skills for playing in defense are better than the skills for attack:

  • A fundamental position to close the entry of the opponent, without faulting or touching him.
  • Everything happens through a psychological game between two players (like in boxing)

B.      Game skills in defense, done by the small groups:

  • Closing the angles on the goal's directions: defending in 2-3-4-5 players, finally forcing the opponent to lose the ball:\
  • Covering the player who is attacking, with 2-3-4 players coming from 2-3-4 directions and closing the ways and forcing them to lose the ball.

C.      Defending with entire team is the key of the champion (such as demonstrated by the U-20 Juniors in Argentina, as well as during WC-1998, with France's Concept, or Cameroon's, France & Italy's for the Euro-2000, etc.

  • The champions are playing in defense first, and then, in attack.
  • The attack is carried out in 2-5 players and the defense in minimum 7-8-9 and 10-11 players.
  • The individual skills are building the team strategies
  • Almost all these champions are playing:

VARIANT OF 4-4-2 in a combination of: 4-1-4-1;
